Citibond Cherry Blossom Tour 3rd April 2025

Our recent Cherry Blossom Special tour was truly extraordinary. Travelling to Japan is always a dream come true.

From the moment the group landed in Tokyo the excitement was unmatchable. Tokyo was buzzing, offering a blend of modern technology, culture, delicious cuisine, and excitement. While the cherry blossoms were a bit shy this year, the guests enjoyed what Japan had to offer from the awe-inspiring Ueno Park and the deep-rooted tradition at Meiji Shrine to the Peaceful cruise along the Meguro River. Thrilling visit to the Sky Tree, the Busy Shibuya Crossing, and the hustling Asakusa market, highlights unfolded one after the other. Taking part in local traditions and dressing up in local attire KIMONO, guests were also thrilled to experience the Japanese Tea making ceremony, which is a deep-rooted Japanese culture. 

The journey through Hakone, Matsumoto, and the beautiful mountain town of Takayama was truly memorable. Guests admired the magnificent beauty of Mt. Fuji up close, sipped Sake at a traditional brewery, and every stop was filled with fun and discovery. Kyoto and Nara displayed a sense of calm and spirituality. The tranquility of visiting the Bamboo Forest, Kinkakuji and Todaiji Temple touched guests' hearts. They were very appreciative of the moment of peace, which allowed them to connect with Japanese culture uniquely.

Osaka and Hiroshima marked the end of the Cherry blossom special tour with a high note. Reflecting at the Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima and exploring the Floating Garden Observatory, guests had a chance to witness the most remarkable history and vibrant present of Japan. Displaying Japan's advanced innovations, guests had an unforgettable experience on the Bullet train.

 The connection between the group is what made this journey even more special. Together they shared stories, meals, laughter, and created lifelong memories. They all said one thing is that they had experienced Japan in a way they never had before. Most importantly, the fellow travelers who started as strangers and ended up as good friends. The wonderful companionship, the incredible effort from the Citibond team, and the wonderfully designed itinerary made this tour not just a holiday but a cherished experience
